The late Paul McGoon was motivated to help his colleagues who sustained spinal cord injuries in Fiji. On 22nd April 2022, he passed on at home after 21 years of being paralysed due to an injury he sustained from diving into a shallow swimming pool to his spinal cord – c4 vertebrae.
Friends supported the family with donations and we have set up an activity – The Paul McGoon Memorial Fund to assist those physically challenged persons with Food Rations, Transport – Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle – Hospital Visits.
VSIAF has this service that allows kind-hearted individuals to donate gifts in kind or monetary assistance to our beneficiaries. whatever small donations from individuals, we have been able to help and support many families.
